Does Ford have, "Build Sheets," for these pickups?
When I had my Dodge Cummins, and also for both our Cherokees, I called Dodge Customer Support for recall info, then asked them if they could furnish Build Sheets for me. They could and did. About a day later I got 2 1/2 pages via email of, basically, the showroom window sticker that listed every last option, trim level, etc., that vehicle left the factory with. Dif. gear ratios, paint codes, gas tank capacity, etc., etc. Great help later to really know what your truck has in it. So. Does Ford offer the same thing? All I needed to get the above was my VIN number.
?????
They have Body Builder books available, but I cannot find the post or the link that I downloaded them from...
The documents are nearly 30MB in size, so no chance at hosting them here. I have the book for the 2000 and 2002 MY. This is page 1 of the 278 page document I have on the 2000.
Thank you, aaw. I found that a couple days ago. It helps, but covers only about 10% of what the MoPar based build sheets reveal. Looks like Ford just doesn't offer much information on individual vehicles.

If you want the original this works for them all the way back to 1999.
These build sheets are available through FordETIS, and they are just like the Mopar build sheets. Ford tightened up their leash on ETIS about 1-2 years ago and closed out a lot of DIY accounts. I signed up for a new account with an LLC I have open and I can still use ETIS. If you have an LLC that's remotely automotive related or a friend with one, sign up as an independent operator. If not, PM me your VIN and I will gladly plug it into FordETIS for you. I'll do this for anyone else who wants a build sheet. They contain valuable information that can help with part sourcing, and should be available to everyone.

What a generous offer you have given @JeepGuy93 ! I have sent some forum reps your way as that is the only way I know how to publicly thank you for offering your time and services to the FTE community.
Below is a screen shot of the build sheet for my 2000 F-250. I find the "build date" interesting as I could have sworn it says December 1999 on the door, but I will have to look next time I am out there near it. The PO (only owner besides me as well) used the truck to haul horses between LA and TX, so I am not surprised to see the options the build sheet has listed.
I have included a copy of the original window sticker as well for comparison sake for anyone interested in the differences between the two.
Ahhh! Now we've got something. JeepGuy93, thank you. I'm trying to PM you but cannot figure out how. I clicked on your signature icon but still could not find a PM option. Where this Ford will end up within our family is still undecided, but the more we know the better it's future will be. How can I contact you please?

You have private messages disabled. Browse through your options and there should be a box to check or uncheck.
Just spent a while on my forum options. checked/unchecked everything I could find regarding private messaging acceptance. Nothing I could find clearly presented PM options. I've found it easier on other forums. Perhaps someone could try now to see if I fixed it to accept PM's.
