I tried to get the new one open by hand but that didn't work. Once warmer weather comes, I'll be able to play with it or the old one more. I will update when that time comes.

May be going over to a buddies next week, he has a heat gun so may be I'll bring the old one with me.

Boy, that was easy, Today I went to Tractor Supply, bought a oil filter chain wrench, I had a gift card so it was free to me, cost was $9.99.

Clamped the housing in the vise, took a few try's, the bench even rocked a couple times, but it broke free.

May be I should have done this before a bought the new one... Still glad I have a new assembly on the truck.
