I change mine about once a week. The only things I leave alone are the icons. I downloaded over 2,000 icon pics from download.com, and used different ones from different groups. Really messes my wife up when she gets on my computer, she can't find anything because she is looking for the 'Windows' names and icons. Luckily she has her own...
Right now I have a picture of a black '47 Mercury truck as my wallpaper. I change my wallpaper every few days, I have pics of Mustangs, landscapes, girls , just lots of stuff.

I have a bunch of pics of working heavy equipment and mining equipment, you know, the REALLY big haul trucks and front-end loaders, that I change up every few weeks on my work computer. It really keeps all of the bunny-huggers here in the office 'hopping'!
I leave my icons alone. But I switch my background once/week. I switch between .bmp's of my son, an IHC 1206 pulling tractor, harleys and indian, and street rods.
Mine is just the boring old Sun Microsystems logo. Sometimes I get really wild and use the "rain drops" background. Ooooooooo.
I have so much stuff running at one time, I can't see the background so I never spent much time changing it. After all, it's Unix and ya can't just "point & click".
For a Lot of Excellent photographs of different things.
You guys should download webshots on to your computer.
The site is free and its got Millions of photos.
Just highlite my webshots URL below my e-mail addie and see for yourself.

How do you guys do all this? My wife laughs at me (as I'm sure you will) because I spend most of my time trying to go back to the OLD way of life. I hate computers and I'm being dragged kickin' and screamin' into the 21st century. I'm only talking to you guys 'cause she got the internet connection, I happened upon this website, you guys are cool , otherwise I'd be out in the shop! Yes, I know I'm a relic. What can I say, I still like carbs.lol.
During hockey season I have Boston's spoked B on a black background. It looks awesome. Right now I have Bart Hartman's Renegade Dirt Late Model. Bart's from my hometown back in Ohio and his father was a great racer that I admired growing up.
