Jim have you looked at the 4x4 vacuum solenoid located near the battery just above the vacuum pump. It has an electrical hook up along with a vacuum connector, it cracks underneath and causes it to malfunction. It controls the air flow in the cabin along with the 4x4 hubs Mine was broken and caused my system to continuously switch from vent to defrost. 40 bucks later , fixed. That sounds correct, not sure it was you but didn’t you find a lose wire behind the glove box ? Could be a clue, good luck, at least you know we’re to look.
have blend door cover off and relooking at actuator. Testing actuator, the door actuator does not move when I adjust the temp, thinking I have a blown fuse but cant find any info what fuse it could be?
