67 bronco engine ideas??
anybody out there with good ideas of an engine to build for a 67 bronco? currently a 302 resides under the hood, but would like to have something with more torque? have considered buying an parts donor pick-up/bronco but not sure which way to go. fuel injection or carburation; 302 stroked, 351w, 351c, or larger. timing and difficulty isnt to big a factor any ideas would be greatly appreciated

I would go with a 393W stroker. I prefer carbs myself but if you have the money and know-how you can't beat injection. I would never throw a cleveland in where a windsor sat even thoguh it would bolt up. Parts are so plentiful for the windsor series it just wouldn't mke sense.

I think the 351W would be the engine of choice, either stock cubes or stroked to 393, Carbs are by far cheaper but I love the idea of taken the old style and retrofiting modern techknowlogy, If its in your budget, then EFI, OD, Vintage A/C, upgraded interior, stereo, It would be SWEETT! DW
