stalls when i bump the truck in any way, if i touch the brakes at all starts to stumble and most of the time stall, it can be using the fast idle locked to 1500 and will stumble to 800 then stall after 5 minutes, i think its time for a rebuild or just move on and make (weld) a nice intake and run the two autolite 2100s i have or wait for the other 3 onan generator carbs that i got coming in the mail
if i hold the throttle at 1600 or up (have a digital tach) she will never stall and she has all the power in the world all of her 104 hp, ive also change out the fuel filters, ran from a 1 gal bottle on the ground so the tube was guaranteed clear

Do you have power brakes? If so, I suspect your brake booster has a vacuum leak.
If you can duplicate the fault while parked, try disconnecting and plugging the big vacuum line to the brake booster. Don't drive like this, as the brakes will not have any power assist. But it would be quite safe to try this while parked.

i have tried blocking off the booster, it works fine, and i blocked off my port on the carb same exact results, just when i pump the brake in the parking lot and stop if i stop hard enough the truck stalls hard, she even sputters while slowing down and the clutch isnt depressed
Those numbers look pretty good, and keep in mind that elevation plays a role too, a correction factor needs to be applied. I see from your profile location is in Arid Zone A, so most likely at least a couple thousand feet above sea level.

Im sitting around 2-300 ft elevation, I'm gonna take the carb off and see if there's any leaks in the manifold
i disconnected my exhaust downpipe and blocked it off, then i took the carb off and got a metal plate and gasket tapped a hole in the plate then bolted it over where the carb goes with the air compressor hooked through the plate started pumping air in and nothing, i closed the valve between the compressor and the tubing to the manifold and it held pressure while disconnected so i released the pressure and just stopped for the day, its come down to something with the carb because i tried a friends and it ran perfectly like new, im gonna take apart my carb tomorrow
Not to hijack the thread but I think I am having a booster issue. I've replaced everything with the brakes besides that. Cold start it wants to die if I push on the brakes, along with a hard brake pedal. Once the truck is warmed up, the issue goes away and my brakes are fine. I it because vacuum is built up after warming up to fix the bad booster?

As a test like above pull the hose off and plug it then do your test again. DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR THIS WAY!
The pedal should be hard but should not do anything to the motor how it runs.
If that is the case then yes the booster is bad and needs to be replaced.

Alright I am going to try this when I get home. I guess if that doesnt solve my problem then I have no idea what could be causing it. Much appreciated! Now just gotta find something to rig up a temporary plug
