Just ordered an F350, 6.7 Lariat Ultimate to tow our fifth wheel. I did not order the LED package. Seems like a lot for headlights.
Did I make a mistake here? My 2019 Lariat headlights are pretty good. Are LEDs that much better or should I save the $1100?

The LED lights are probably the best money I spent on mine. I have halogen in my 2019 and the LED in my 2020 are night and day difference. It is always subjective, but I am glad I upgraded.

Agreed with everyone else - the LED's are a significant upgrade. I'm at the point in my life where I probably need to start wearing glasses, so any extra help with visibility is good.

If you can change your order, do it.
You do know that one OEM LED headlight cost more than the $1100.00 extra that you mentioned don’t you?
Also, your fellow drivers on the road would really appreciate you not falling into the camp of other owners who put aftermarket LED bulbs in their halogen housings.
I think LEDs should be a standard option on all trucks from XL up. Ford seems to think LEDs are not a safety item but a luxury item. If all trucks came with LED headlights the cost would come way down.
If you do not have a vin and it is not locked in at ford you can add anything you want. Once the vin has been assigned it is done and being built according to the vin. As far as the led's that is subjective and personally I do not like them. If I did not drive in the snow or like the color maybe it would be different but I don't like reveal with led. And I really don't like cleaning the lights off every few miles in a snow flurry. And yes I have both. Cj
If you do much driving at night they are worth every penny, I don’t buy the sticking snow thing have had leds in three 17+ trucks hasn’t been a issue for me and live in northern climate now.

pretty big mistake, imo.
I won’t even consider a truck without LED at this point. $1100 is mere change in the grand scheme of it, unless your going for a budget XL build.
I think the trucks look way better, and the vision at night is better. The trucks look cheap imo with the halogens.
The LED’s where at the top of my “must have” list. With that being said the truck I just purchased Tuesday didn’t have the LED headlights it came with listed anywhere on the build sheet. I can’t say for a fact that they are standard now but for what it’s worth mine is a 2020 and was built 10/20 so maybe? I also has test drove a Ram that was just built and same deal, had LED’s and not listed on the window sticker.
