97 7.3 frame swap
Hey, I’m looking for someone to give me any information on frame swapping.
I have a 97 f250 7.3, regular cab long box configuration. The frame I’m looking at is from a 87-91 with a 460, I know the engines will mount up but do the rest of the frame match? Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance!

Frame horns are different. 80-91 they were the same, but changed in 92.
You'll also have to weld a plate on the 460 cross member to bolt in a 7.3 engine mount.
Aside from those I believe everything else will bolt up.
