I ordered my truck on October 7th and it was delivered to the dealer on December 9th to central Wisconsin.

For what it's worth back in 2016 I ordered my 2017 in early Sept and got my VIN in mid Nov. When I looked at the window sticker online I saw the dealer ordered the wrong color. I had to go in that day and order a new truck in the correct color.
Both trucks showed up a week apart in early Jan. As production speeds up they start coming faster.

This isn't a fair depiction of typical wait times though. Didn't the production of 2021's not even start until October?

I like my salesman. He is a great trustworthy guy. Ford told him 8-9 weeks. The head of north American media relations, Brian, told me 8-9 weeks. Ford just needs to keep better relations with their customer base. An email would have been nice.

Could be longer, could be shorter, but you asked for a reasonable guess.
If your dealer does not have typical allocation, or does not perform dilligence in order placement then all bets are off.

Reasonable wait, 6-12 weeks i think. I've ordered 3 vehicles before the one I have on order now, f150 took close to 20 weeks, gmc took a little over 7 weeks, chevy traverse took close to 5 weeks. F350 on order now currently 6 weeks waiting.

People reading this are going to get unrealistic expectations if they interpret this as 5 and 6 week waits .

Whats unrealistic about it? I've seen people report there f350 in less than 5 weeks, like i said my f150 took 20 weeks. Sat waiting for the bed liner for 3 weeks and then sat in the rail yard for 5 weeks. I think 6-12 weeks is very close to what it'll be. Is it a big window yes but things can dictate that very easily.
