2004 drilled chassis holes same as 2013?
Hello,
Im buying a set of galvanized side steps for my 2004 e350 extended van from a friend. His van that its coming off of is a 2013 e350 standard. I'm thinking that the chassis holes should be identical and that i probably should not have to drill anything. Hopefully someone can chime in and verify this.
At first i had purchased a set of aluminum dee zee steps but i just don't like the way that they mount to the body unlike the galvanized steps which mount to the chassis and seem much more durable.
Ive included an example of what the galvanized steps look like. Hopefully someone knows for sure..
Thank you very much

apparently they are not the same. They don't fit and not likely to drill new holes as the parking brake cable assembly and cross member is in the way on the driver-side. the brackets need to be notched and at that point ill just have to have a steel shop weld them to the chassis for me. Oh well..
