There is one company that has the parts and the original Bendix tooling for obsolete parts and it is PBX. They purchased the entire Bendix tooling plant in San Jose after Ford closed the production facility. Lots of companies are distributors for them but you can go direct for a better price.
The C477 is serviceable, I had two and sent one off to PBX. It did take 5 weeks but it came back like new. Cost was just over 415.00 and that was in 2018.
