Thanks, but looking at your truck it looks like the height of the side panel is taller at the rear by about 1 1/2" to 2". Stick a tape measure on it.
My express bed is 8ft, not 9ft. Are you referring to only the later 9 ft beds?
On the 48-52s, the only reason the rear end might look taller would be due to a rake from the rear suspension.
The bed sides themselves are equal in height along their entire length.
Thanks for this. I swear they look tapered! lol. Okay then. I guess the Express name is for the use of the vehicle, IE carrying loads that need to get there in a hurry. So, they ate built stringer and more durable to minimize failures.
