Hi Rex and Brett, welcome to the Man.\Sk chapter! Hope you have a good Christmas despite the present circumstances.
Thanks for the pictures, we love `em!
I had side glass cut for my 53 at a local glass shop, most old glass is discoloured and badly sand pitted. You can up grade the old 8 bolt wheels to modern 1 piece from a late 60`s/96 F250 for tubeless tires.
I`m glad that you still have your dad's truck, I never could find my dad's 53 F350 after it was sold.

Now I have a pair of 53 M100 trucks and a 56 F350.

The Old Car center in Langley BC has parts: http://www.oldcarcentre.com/catalogs/cat_fordpu.pdf
Also George Moir in Stone Plain Alberta handles parts for your truck: https://georgemoir.ca/product/1948-5...rts-catalogue/
Good luck with your progress and keep us posted.

Thank you for the links. Found a Saskatoon company that is willing to cut out the centers and put them into a 17" barrel. We will be able to keep the same hub caps then.

Btw-Nice trucks. Love the red.

A friend at Value Tire has contacted someone from Prairie Wheel and Manufacturing Inc. Still in limbo but looks hopeful. Will keep you all posted once I know more detail.

I want to get newer rims on my 56 F350 wheel centers, seems no one is brave enough to tackle working on split rims now.
