There's two methods.. from your computer or go to a website like Photobucket.com..
Go to advance reply... and click on the icon that looks like a paper clip.. and attach the photo..

That's not good. Is this at your home computer or work computer? I find it much, much easier to use Firefox instead of explorer as my internet browser. I usually upload photos to my gallery here at FTE and put them in the thread from there.

With Firefox it's as simple as opening another tab showing my gallery, find the picture I want and right click on it. Then select "Copy image location". Then just come back to the thread I want to post the picture in, hit the button (that's near that paperclip thing that I didn't know what it was for until this thread) and a little window pops up. Go to that window, right click and hit paste, then the OK button. Your picture is now inserted in the thread.

Of course if it says you may not post photos, then someone smart will have to tell you how to fix that.

Sorry I didn't look at your post first. You can preview your post prior to posting it too. I always use the yellow square with the mountain in it. then i just copy and paste the location of the pic. good luck we will help you get through it. By the way welcome to FTE.
