Low Tire Pressure warning

I won't be hauling anything in my 2016 Lariet F-350 or towing the 5th wheel for a few months, so with the incoming snow storm in the north east, I thought the truck would handle, & ride a little better with less than 80lbs in the tires. let the pressure in all four down to 60lbs & got a low tire pressure warning. Pumped all four back up to 80 & the warning is still their, is that warning going to have to be reset, or will it go away, if it doesn't go away haw can it be reset..
Thanks, John

I think it will go away once you drive the truck a few miles.
You can change the TPMS setting if you have a laptop, an OBDII adapter and FORScan. A Ford service dept probably won't do it for you unless the service tech is a good friend..

Plenty of YouTube stuff on resetting the sensors. Simple DIY takes only a few minutes. When I air down then back up I always have to reset.

Thanks for the response, I keep forgetting that in addition to Ford Truck Enthusiasts, You Tube is my friend.

I dont have my owner's manual handy, but if I remember correctly instructions for resetting are also in the manual.

Thanks for the response, I never got to the reset as we had 8" snow. Took a few short trips the last couple days, about 75 miles total & the warning is gone, looks like they may have reset themselves, the next few days will tell for sure. Have the tires up to factory spec. now 80lbs, does anyone know how low before a low tire warning is triggered, on a 2016 F-350, looks like mine was about 65lbs.

25% of the set pressure is generally where they trigger... Any tire shop that uses an Autel TS508 scanner ( very common in the tire shop world ) can reset the pressures lower for you, as well as the option with Forscan
