Inline 6 to 351w

I have found a 92 F150 that has had a 351w out of a van put in it. They have left the original 4 speed manual transmission in it. Will this trans. hold up to the V8? I have been trying to figure out exactly what transmission it is.
Would it be a T-18?

Welcome to FTE.

Is first gear really low, as in a crawler gear? If so, it will hold.

OR

Is it geared like a 3 speed, with 4th gear being overdrive? If so, drive it easy.

The Mazda M5OD would have been the original trans in a '92 F150 so that could be anything in there now.

I think a T 18 might have been an option for those trucks, or maybe the NP435.

If you can look at the transmission, the most obvious difference is the top cover. The T18 is cast iron like the case, and the NP 435 has an aluminum cover.
