Issues with Double Roller set and balancer

Installed a Ford performance doubler roller set on a D9T 460. Original engine to truck and I've had it 7 years. Installing a new balancer appropriate to the "hatchet" weighted spacer, the new balancer bottoms out on the weight spacer. It looks like there needs to be about 3/8" of further room on the crank snout. I didn't measure but is the double roller crank sprocket longitudinally longer than the factory single? Timing set is fully seated. Keys are good and installed correctly. Verified correct balancer for application. Has anyone had this issue with double roller set? The spacer seems fully seated and tapping on it yields no movement and I am afraid to hit it harder to prevent damage on the thrust bearing. Should I have a machine shop take the approximately 3/8" off or is there a custom balancer for this application? It looks like the space is still making contact with the seal so it shouldn't leak.

I figured it out. I'm just an idiot. Installed the balancer backwards. Doing it at night after work really was a bad idea. Maybe I would have seen the timing marks or remembered how the pulley centered on the hub. Learn from my mistake.

I saw my buddies dad doing one and he put the crank sprocket on. first. I was going to say something buy my buddy gave the "don't say nuthin' " signal.....

So your error is rather whimsical by comparison.
