Hi all,
I have started noticing that whenever I stopped the vehicle & especially when open the door, the engine RPM goes up and reaches around 1200 RPM.
Also sometimes while the vehicle is idle.
The last few things done before starting to notice the issue was when I did some FORScan coding as follows:
1- adjusting the speedometer reading with GPS.
2- Enabling Secure Idle
3- Enabling Auto re-lock
4- TPMS Placard Tire Pressure Display

If the problem goes away then you’ve 100% narrowed down the problem and what’s causing it.
FORScan can show one how to change things but they can’t tell you how to fix any problems that might show up afterwards.
Hi mate;
matter of fact I'm considering of undoing the above and have a lock again, and at the same time wondering if the cause might be something else though !

If you do put it back to stock and the problem still exists, you might want to run a scan on your vehicle to see if there are any codes.
Something like this can be very annoying to track down.
You might need a tune up / new spark plugs, maybe better gas, could be a dirty throttle body, etc, etc.

the spark lugs were replaced just couple a week ago. I will undo the above mentioned mods and check back again. hopefully will be able to pin down the issue.
