No heat

2002 4.6
I had the heater core replaced last year, heat worked ok but never really got hot.
Blend door is workingI am now not getting ANY warmth coming out of the vents or defrost.

Any ideas?

Check the inlet and outlet lines at the heater core. If both are not hot, you'll never get heat.

Drive up on ramps or park uphill and top off your coolant. You could have some air in the system.

The blend door is working and the hoses are in the correct place..I would check/replace the water pump.
I have ran into this on a couple of 4.6's,the impeller on the pump will rust/wear down.

Having the same issue, I read on a forum on a different site that air could be the problem and to burp it. Gonna try it as soon as I get my coolant soaked spark plugs out 😂
