Basic sync questions

Good morning,
I have a 16 f150 XL. It has bluetooth and a cd player. Just the basic sync I'm assuming. I'm looking into improving the audio quality. I see there are a few interfaces and DSPs for the people with the better stereos.
I wouldn't need anything like this correct? I understand I may not get rca or digital output. But I also don't have to worry about the rear door speakers having their power limited from the headunit, right?

How much are you looking to spend?

Go to the PAC-Audio, iData, or Metra Online websites to get an idea of what you’ll need.

All you really need is a five channel amp, new speakers, and a basic sub.

As with everybody, I want to spend as little as possible and improve the sound as much as I can. I already have a couple 12s, a class d sub amp, and a pair of new Polk audio component set.
I figured a 4 channel class d amp, another set of door speakers (perhaps another component set?), a wiring kit, and mounting or buying another sub box.
That should be it I think.
Will the integration actually do anything for me? What are the pro/cons of using the integration vs straight wiring?

The integration, if any is needed with the XL, enables you to keep features like steering wheel controls.

With what you mentioned above, you’re going to need another amp or a new 5 or multi channel amp.
