Rain-X and Aquapel work really well for glass without wipers, but really make a mess with the wipers.
I almost posted the Griots glass polish as I’ve been using for years. Find it interesting on your statement on Aquapel as I’ve used that for years and have never had an issue. One car has perfect glass the other is sandblasted pretty badly and both I’ve ran for years with an annual application of Aguapel. I definitely stay away from anything with Rain-x though.
don’t waste money on arms I just replaced mine under warranty and it didn’t help.
I wasn't so much thinking about replacing the arms, but putting the helper springs on them to provide more pressure to the blade.
I've cleaned/polished my glass with no real luck. This is the only other thing I can think of?
No help here. Just to say so far so good. Stock wipers are best I've ever had. Still rocking them 2 years later. Knock on wood. Hopefully when the time comes the replacements will be just as good.
Wondering if the glass could have a warp in it or something causing it? It sounds like the only thing you haven't replaced.
Hmm...I must be lucky. I've never done anything to a windshield on any of the 20+ vehicles I've owned except wash it with the rest of the vehicle. I use Bosch Icon wipers, and usually get 2 years out of a set. I replaced the stock wipers on my 2018 after 2 months because they were junk, and haven't touched them since...
I am so f@&$ing glad I’m not alone!
clay bar worked for a short time, almost looks like an oily residue.
just an update bro. I tried all the griots stuff and every other idea on the planet. I went to advance auto and bought a set of trico maxx blades and problem solved. So then, of course I wanted to know wtf. I dug out my factory blades that I saved “just in case”. Where the arm and blade come together in the factory blade the mounting platform is roughly 4-5” long. the motor raft replacements, Bosch focus, are only 3” long. These trico blades are the same as the oem roughly 4-5”. It has to be that extra weight that makes the difference on the down wipe. Best I can figure.

You do realize that you just jinxed yourself..............
My truck had the same problem. I tried the Michelin blades, but no help. I read somewhere that the Bosch Icon blades cured the the issue. I found these, Bosch Icon Wiper blades 22A22B, and installed them last night. They (so far) have cured the issue.
