towing without a tow package
We have a 2008 F150 Lobo 4x4 built in Mexico. It doesn't have a tow package. If we put a proper hitch reciever and use a weight distribution hitch, how much should we be able to tow?

Not knowing your engine,, truck configuration, etc., based on page 15, 5,000 pounds is your limit without a tow package.

5K sounds about right.
luckily there's many options available today in the micro light category.
If you have a family then a pop-up will give you the most interior space.
It would be challenging to find a dual axle trailer that you could safely pull as you'll likely have limited payload.
That said, my sister pulls a Geo pro " single axle " with her Hyundai Santa fe, 5K towing capacity.
