I am currently converting my 1966 F100 2WD from front drum to disc brakes from a 1973 F100. Looking for the front brake line brackets. I did not get them with the new disc brakes. One for each side. Part # D2TZ-2K340-A. I have also seen it with part # D2TZ-2082-A (RH) and D2TZ-2082-B (LH). Any ideas on where to find these? I have searched online for several hours and have located one.
Also need the rear brake line bracket part # C7TZ-2073-A. I might be able to use my current one. I don't know yet. I also decided to change my brake lines to the 1973 to be compatible.
Finally, I need the bracket to mount the combination valve to the frame. Part # D3TZ-2B526-A. This one probably could be made, but I don't currently have the tools to bend and cut the metal.
I have looked for donor trucks at my local salvage yards to no avail.
Try posting this message in the 66 forum. I know guys there have done the same swap and dealt with your question. I also think they know who might carry spare parts like that. The only one that comes to mind is Flashback F100's, but I think there are others. You should be able to find what you're looking for.
Thanks. I got lucky after I posted yesterday and found two front brackets, the rear bracket and a substitute proportioning valve bracket on eBay. I just had to do the search differently to find them. There are not many to be found.
