I have a 2020 F350 lariat with Sync3. According to the owners manual on my radio I should be able to adjust different colors but I only am able to adjust from dim to bright on the Ambient lighting. I have two friends that have a 19 and an 18 lariat and they are able to adjust different color tones and once again my owners manual says I’m supposed to be able to do it but I cannot. The Touch button does not show up for a color change According to the Ford representative. Can someone confirm that on there 2020 they are able to change the colors Of your ambient lighting? Thank you very much for your help........... I stand corrected, both of my friends have 2018’s and they do have color changing capability.
The key wording in the owners manual is (If Equipped) . Lots of information in the OM that does not apply to all trucks, or any truck at all. Having Sync 3 doesn't mean all the functions under Sync 3 are available on a particular truck configuration. In this electronic age, wouldn't it be nice if you could get an electronic OM tailored specifically to your truck and VIN.

Agreed........... If equipped with””Sync3”” which I am :-)
Are you implying that the owners manual is very vague.....lol. The owners manual states the year 2020 but yet no 2020s come with that feature so why is it inside the owners manual?
That’s what I’m talking about :-)

That's why I wrote; Lots of information in the OM that does not apply to all trucks, or any truck at all. Cheaper to recycle the previous year's OM than to actually think about what belongs or doesn't.
