@timmyboy76 , you lost your phone on the street and a nice woman named Geanna would like to return it to you... I have some contact information for her, but I am not sure on how to get this information to you... Your phone rings and she answered it if you want to call your number own number
She said there is light damage and she found it in the street...
PM here for her number or call your number in order to get your phone back brother!
That's great...a phone is not just 'a phone' anymore.
ETA: That reminds me of the phone I found at the boat dock in Upstate, NY whilst canoeing. Its battery was weak but I just started at the top of the contact list until I got an answer. I told the guy that I found this phone here and this is where I'll leave it. Whether or not he got it back I'll never know but I gave it my best.
Geanna sent me a text saying that she had found the phone and was looking for the owner. I called and spoke to her for a moment, but I laughed because I told her "well, I don't really know how else to get in touch with him..."
Last year when we were at the beach camping, my wife was down strolling along the beach looking for shells and shark teeth. I was in the camper hanging out with the dogs for a bit. I received a call from her mom and she said "I just received a call from Kate's phone, but a nice lady was on the other end and said she found the phone on the beach". I called the number the person left with her mom and spoke to her for a moment to get her location. As I rode my bike down to the beach to meet this person, I found my wife walking along the water edge and said "hey, did you lose something?" She started laughing and I told her someone on the beach was waiting for me to meet her and I will just bring it back to the camper.
Turns out, the phone was just barely being taken over by the waves coming in at high tide and 10 minutes later it would have been lost forever. I thanked them and we had a short exchange of light conversation.
Also, Mr. @Y2KW57 , please feel free to move this thread (if you feel it is necessary) and these posts to the "Morning Coffee Thread". I don't mind it at all if my posts and threads are moved around if there is a better home for them.
She seemed very nice to me when I spoke to her on the phone, but I did not ask if she was single... We had a good laugh about her finding the phone in the road and I said "ya, kind of sounds like Tim." I am just grateful that he found his phone and Geanna was nice enough to make an effort to get it back to him.
Timmy did just buy a home in ID and we hope to stop by next year and shake his hand since it is right near our western stomping ground. Perhaps we can meet Geanna as well...
Like to announce, that my irreplaceable phone has been securely in my possession...lol.
Thanks Sous. The founder just happened to hit the 1st name in text and waa you. Then went on downward....
