My 2020 F350 has a 2.5" receiver, and DID NOT come with a reducer. Nor the extra cup holders.... 7.3l gasser

Depends if it is gas or diesel. Diesel would be 3", gas most likely 2.5"

Yep I finally took a tape measure out an it's 2.5" guess some of the 3" comments must have been Diesel trucks. Mines the 7.3. gas.

I got the Husky 3" --> 2" adapter off ebay. Works fine. I am using it with a motorcraft branded hitch plug which does a good job of covering the receiver plus you can push the cover all the way in before putting the adapter in the hitch, this snugs it up a bit so no rattle.

I've got a 2020 F350 6.7 that has the 3" receiver and I pull a 27' camper that's about 6,000 pounds (overkill for now until I get a 5th wheel next year). I tried the dual sleeve reducers and didn't like it - rattled like crazy. I bought a B&W Tow and Stow ball mount that's got the 2-5/16 ball which is rated at 21,000lbs and a 2" ball with a 3" shank. It was something like $320 to buy it but I like it, extremely well made in the good old US of A! I also like that the trailer ***** fold underneath so I don't take it off when I'm not towing. Yeah, it's some extra bucks but a very good product.

Reviving this thread for this noob - what products fit into the stock Super Duty 3" receiver? I have 2" drop hitches and I have a 2" shackle from my Raptor and can't use it because the 3" to 2" sleeve by Husky Tow is out of stock everywhere. What goes into the 3" stock receiver? What hitch options are there for ball towing small trailers? (I'll be towing a 5th wheel otherwise).

Thanks

Weigh Safe makes a 3" shank. There are starting to be more and more hitch manufacturers that make a 3" shank.

I have a 3” aluminum Weigh safe with a 6” drop. Nice tight fit and no sleeves to rattle. I have the 2” and 2 5/16” stainless ball for it.

Andersen and Gen-Y are the only WD hitches I’m aware of that can be used with a 3” receiver at this time. Weigh Safe (as mentioned above) and B+W have adjustable hitches, and Curt sells fixed drop 3” shanks. I called Equal-I-zer, who told me they’d have a 3” shank for their WDH by summer. I couldn’t wait so I went with the Andersen.

Thanks for posting that! I went there and almost bought it but I searched and found it at Walmart online with free delivery

This should fit your truck though: https://www.etrailer.com/p-38735.html
This says does not fit ford 3" hitches so beware if you are looking to buy this one
