Reset memory seats

Does anyone know how to clear the memory seat settings? All I can find is info on programming them

Only way to clear is to force a module reset. Otherwise just pick new settings and save them.

Either with IDS or Forscan.

Why wouldn’t you just set it all the way you’d like and hold the button to overwrite it?

what am I missing here? Does it log a SSN with jt as well and needs wiped at trade in?

I’m not sure I understand the need to reset them. Either put in a setting that is more useful or don’t use the system. Why bother to reset it?

Hello I am trying to unlink my fobs from the easy recall. The procedure in the manual says to hold the seat position then when beeps press unlock to unlink this does not work, but click lock to set it of course does.

If I do a Module Reset on the SMM with Forscan do you think it will clear these out? If not how do you properly clear them? I have found two articles on Fords website and neither works on my 2022 F-250.

Wish someone would figure this out.

I'm tired of having to reset lumbar, mirrors and seat position every time I get in my F350. As a data point, the seat moves to a position, just not the one I have saved. It WILL move to position 1 if I press the button on the door. It WILL NOT change the lumbar setting or mirrors.

I've tried overwriting, unpairing via unlock and am considering unplugging the module under the seat.

Any help would be appreciated.
