Can't say i've searched for this because i don't know where to begin. '03 6.0 4wd. When taking off from a start it drives fine but once i hit a pot hole (or really any significant bump) the truck starts to vibrate. Not terrible like shake your fillings out but noticeable. If you slow down enough and/or come to a stop it goes away till you hit the next bump. Any ideas what's behind it.
Most of the front suspension has been replaced and rear drive shaft balanced. I can find my list if anyone has specific questions. I have an idea but would like to hear from others.
Could be any part of your steering system but if you want guesses i will say ball joints.
easy enough to inspect and pin point what it really is.
Thank you for the reply. I wish i would have read this last night. I'll get my list and see what's been done, it's in the vehicle. I want to say ball joints were not done. I did sway bar end links (ford) and wheel bearings (timken). I was getting some engine work done at the dealer and they noticed a lot of worn out suspension parts and threw a bunch on. I took the family on a summer vacation no issues but its had this vibration since then.
i want to say 130-140k miles.
Ok, got my service list. Ball joints upper/lower, steering stab. shock, drag links (link and rod, says short and long drag link in the diagnostic description), a bunch of seals and nuts, along with front shocks. This was done at the dealer with all factory parts. Two new tires and an alignment. Cost a fortune but i guess when you dont have the time, you pay. At the dealer Aug 19 and my trip was May 20.
I did wheel bearings (Timken) and factory sway bar links Jul 18.

Currently at 150k miles.
Suggestions or how to check what?
take it back to the dealer that did the work, just because they did all of that doesn't mean it isn't the same thing and if it is it will be under warranty.
bottom line is nobody here is going to know what the real issue is, you need a tech to inspect it.
the problem can literals be any of the moving parts in your steering or suspension

I respect that, too much changed at once to try and diagnose? I thought the dealer was only good for one year parts and labor?
so not under warranty but still going to need to go to a shop to have a tech diagnose.
i can internet diagnose steering/suspension with the best of them but you have not given us enough useful info to pin point with more then a 5% maybe 7% degree of certainty
I agree on having track bar and spring bushings checked.
also I might have missed it but I didn’t see tie rods in your list. So I would check them.

Thanks guys. I'll check them out. I'm more of a brakes wheel bearings guy. I've installed a new suspension/lift (jeep) and lowered (volvo) but all new parts and then get aligned. So any help input is appreciated.
