The lug wrench with your jack actually has a plastic coated tip made to pop them off. Worked fairly well when I had to change a tire the other day.

Got mine off with a probing tool for roofing. I was able to re install one by hand but the other three which seemed to be engaged, ,really were not. I had to use a rubber mallet to pop them in place.
