7.3 Intake Manifold Screen
on your Brakes just connect a Vacuum Gauge to the Vacuum manifold to see what is happening... if you have good vacuum then do the Booster Tests.
NOW on the VW the injectors are different and they used Heat Shields.
Somewhere I have a T-fitting normally used on swamp coolers that will fit the hose going to the brake booster. Can plug in 1 end...thump plug the other while there is a small side nipple for a vac gauge.
Tomorrow will either dig that piece up or rig up something sot it can be checked. Ran out of time today to dig it out or even do a Vac test as been busy trying to get my WVO centrifuge to actually spin up...is one of the 55gal//hr ones. I only use the oil in the DD.
Would the booster from a gasser work?
Truck also sat awhile since last run so it took quite a bit of cranking to get started even with the inline pump I installed on the frame to help with priming. The little O-ring in the top of the filter housing (highest point) will get replaced next.

87-97 should all interchange. At least my 89 has a 95 one on it and it bolted right in and worked..
