About a year ago, I purchased a 1963 F100 that was restored many years ago (not exactly sure on the date). A 351w was placed in it along with an automatic transmission. I assumed it was a C4 or a C6. But after some research, I believe it may be a FMX. The pan has a near rectangular shape with 14 bolts. Would that be correct?
Don't know much about auto trans, Never owned one. But your truck is top shelf on what I like. Short box, visor, side pipes, buckets, Yellow and the list goes on. When your done with it let me know! One nice ride!

Thank you for the kind words. I do like it, but may have to paint it at some point in the future.
Good looking truck!
The FMX and MX are good transmissions but they aren't for high performance. They were most used behind 6 cylinder engines in trucks, but a lot of V8 cars used them. If it's working Ok drive it.
