Does anybody have issues with the Sync3 system? I have a brand new 2020 F250 Tremor (bought in August) and I've had quite a few issues with the stereo. After turning on the truck and booting up a lot of the time it takes forever for the stereo to really be "normal". As in, it tunes to whatever satellite radio station I was on last but some of the times I can't change the channel or if I do change the channel, the display doesn't change with it to show current channel & song info. It did this for the first time back in September on a long road trip. For a couple of hours we couldn't switch the channels, change sources, anything. Screen was completely locked up. Even pulled over to the side of the road and turned the truck off and back on, that didn't work. Let it sit for a couple of minutes off, that didn't work. Ever since then it's given me problems. Sometimes I'll be driving and the screen will just turn black and reboot itself. One day last week I turned the truck on and it didn't come on at all and I couldn't see my backup camera (I was trying to hook up to my travel trailer). After a few restarts of the truck it finally started working.

Anybody else experienced these issues?
My ‘19 had similar issues. Carplay issues and black screen issues. At some point it received and update, not sure if it was at the dealer since it’s only been in a couple times, or a Wifi update. Since it hotspots my phone. Since then it’s been good.

what version of sync do you have?
settings-general-about sync
You’re welcome. I was having similar intermittent issues to the ones you reported and since updating from 20196 to 20237 they have cleared up. Sync also appears snappier which points to confirming the CPU optimization being reported for the 2019+ models.
ZooDad is correct in the sense that there isn’t an “official” Ford update beyond the build he linked. There are newer builds available, but one must get them thru unofficial and unsupported channels if they don’t want to wait for the public release.
