I am restoring a set of F1 spindles and hubs. I set the bearing races in the hubs and packed the inner bearing and installed the seal. I did a test fit on the bench and am worried I set the seal too far. I installed the seal until it bottomed out and I appear to have good contact on the spindle shoulder to the seal as is indicative of the grease ring. Thoughts?
