Not many days it's in the 40's in southwest Montana in December. Drove down the Gravelly Range road about 33 miles before having to turn around. Plenty of grizzlies here in the spring/summer. Great drive for anyone wanting to get off-road.
Never had a cap/topper on the my trucks before. I had to send mine back to fix the back hatch due to it not being straight. Just note, the ARE Z fit extremely tight on the bed and will likely rub paint off the side of the bed over time. Otherwise very happy with the look.
your truck looks awesome with that matching cap! I want to do this with mine when I save up for it. Can you tell me exact measurements of the opening ? How tall is it from the bed to the top of the hinges? I want to build a custom bed sliding in system, and was curious how tall my equipment can be on without hitting the top of the cap as it goes in and out.
Thanks

Thanks for the complement... I love the cap on long trips or when I want to haul things without worrying about things getting wet back there. Unfortunately, I can't give you measurements at this time. I'm away from the truck but will report back some measurements hopefully at the end of February. I took measurements awhile back but my old @ss brain forgets things pretty quickly.

Made the trip back home unexpectedly and was able to snap a picture for you. Keep in mind I have the Bullet Liner underneath the Bedrug so there could be about 3/4 inch more to the total. I would be comfortable saying the height is close to 39".
