F600 data plate decode help wanted
First post; so I'm not sure how well this will work. Does anyone happen to be interested in decoding this data plate for me. Trying to figure out what I've got. Also what sources do you use for the info? Typically I google and it leads me to this site where someone's answered the question already. Anywho, vin. F61dcj43570

F61 = F600,gas engine, 4X2
D = built in Ontario Canada.
C = 330 medium duty 2V engine
J43570 = built June of 1970
Trans 4 = Clark 5 sp model 280VO
Axle F34C = 6000# front axle and 2 sp Eaton model #15201 rear axle. With ratios 6.33/8.81.
D.S.O. is the district where the truck was originally ordered from. 17 is the state of Washington.

Thank ya very much, exactly what I needed. Was hoping I got lucky and found the overdrive. I appreciate you telling me the info. As far as the individual codes, is it just information you've learned over time, or is there a book or website that has codes listed

Some I got off fordification. The "other guys".
But they only list for F100/350. The rest I got out of my Ford microfische machine. I am a retired Ford parts man of 41 years. And have my own ancient machine.
