Core Support

I have a 65" F250 with a V8. Bought a new core support, cut some parts off the old one and drilled a couple of holes that were missing. Thought I was done and painted it. I now, looking at the old one, see these brackets sticking out from the bottom of the support. I don't know/remember if anything was there. Anybody have any idea what bolts on here. Thanks

64 core support to a 65

That is where the bottom corner of the inner fender is bolted to the core support. You need that with the flat fender aprons. If you are converting a 64 support to a 65 be sure you also convert it for the battery box since the 64's had the battery on the cowl there are no holes or weld nuts to attach the battery box to. You will have to weld in one nut and drill a couple of holes.

You are correct sir. I already had done the battery box connection as well as the top angle iron pieces for the inner fenders. I don't know how I could miss those bottom brackets. Better to fix it now than after its put back in.
