I have a 2018 Ford F350 SRW with factory Michelin LTX tires in LT275/65R20 and it is almost time for new tires. The usual go to would be a BFG AT KO2. It has been recommended to look at the Falken Wildpeak AT3 as well.
I am factory height with a rear sway bar and factory wheels. I was looking at going larger to fill some of the huge wheel wells and saw BFG offers the AT KO2 in a LT325/60R20 and it appears Costco can get them. I looked online and the 275, 285 and 295 are all on back order. I tried searching, but has anyone put a LT325/60R20 on a 17+ SRW Super Duty? What other recommendations do you all have? Thanks in advance.
The 325/60R20 will want a wider rim than the Ford OEM. ( OEM rim is 8.0" wide, 325 likes a 9.5" rim)
So you would be squeezing the tire on your factory rims. Which causes squirm on the road.
I'd think you'd be happier with the LT295/65R20 It's 35.1" tall vs the LT325 at 35.4" It's also a little narrower at 11.8" vs 12.8" So it fits on the OEM rim better.
I’m also running the 295/65/20 on a factory 20” wheel (KR chrome package wheel). They’re the ridge grapplers and it’s a stock truck suspension wise. I wouldn’t go any wider on the factory wheel
It is my daily driver so primarily around town while occasionally towing a trailer. We have had to do a few trips along I-5 from Washington to California mixed in.
I was looking at the 295/65 or a 35x12.50 but came across the 325/60 but it seems the width is an issue even on lifted trucks. I'm looking for an all-around tire for use in the PNW.
I'm in the same boat, I just ordered the Falken's, they are being installed on Saturday, from what I read they sound very nice, I have always hated the Goodyears the truck came with.
I was looking at the BFG AT, Falkens and the Cooper Discover/Adventure AT3. I towed a travel trailer and plan on getting a 5th wheel so I had kinda decided against the BFGs as some people reported them as a little unstable under load. The Falkens have Amazing reviews for longevity, wet/snow traction, and towing. I ran the Coopers on my F150 and they were great. It basically came down to price between the two for me.
Well I went in to a local place to get pricing and they had these on clearance because they stopped carrying the Ridge Grappler and went to Terra Grappler. So I got these at almost 50% off. Couldn’t pass on them even though I had intended on getting something just a bit bigger. 285/65r 20. These are about 1/2” wider and taller than the factory tires.
Stock wheels (powder coated) and the rear has been lowered using 2” blocks.

I agree and went with the Yokohama X-AT 295/65R20 This tire measure's 35.3" x 12" wide. It was one of 2 tires in its class the was the tallest and slightly wider. Looks perfect on the OEM wheel.

What size Falkens did you get? 285/75R20 Wildpeaks?

I was looking at the 285 or 295 BFG AT KO2 but both are on national backorder. The Falken 285 Wildpeak AT is available. I was only thinking of the 325 BFG as they were in stock. Thanks for all the suggestions.
I have 2019 F350 6.7 bone stock with snow plow package. I’m running 35x12.5r18s toyo rt on the stock rims. Everything stock. Love it! Zero rub!
I was looking at the BFG 35x12.50R20 but the tire shop told me no go as the load rating of each tire was less than the factory 275-65R20. The only tires with the same or higher load rating is the 285-65R20 or 295-65R20.
