Generally speaking, no. Do you know what transmission is in your Expedition now ? I think most of the '99 Expeditions came with the 4R100 transmission, but you'll have to check yours. The only thing close to that in the Explorer line was the 4R70W tranny. Are you having transmission problems now and you need a new one ? But it's not really worth trying to pull anything off an Explorer hoping that it will fit the Expedition. It would be a big waste of time.
