88 Branco

I have a 88 Branco with a 2.9 in it keeps blowing the rear main seal and blew a head gasket. How hard will it be to put a 302 out of a 94 f-150 has not it both manual. Thanks in advance

Your Bronco is a Bronco II, use this forum: Bronco II

It's not going to be a plug-n-play swap since that F150 and your Bronco II do not share much of anything other than the Ford emblem.

From what I've read about the 2.9L you probably have a cracked head. You could also ask your question(s) in the Ranger & B Series forum since it is almost the same thing and there is more traffic over there than in the Bronco II forum.
