Dynatrac, Moog, Timkin are all good brands that have plenty of reviews. Ball joints are not an item that I buy only because they have a Lifetime Warranty. So if the Kryptonite’s only last for only six months and 20,000 miles but they have a Lifetime Warranty, you still have to do that job again. I’d rather spend a little bit more money and get something that’s going to last...
MOOG sucks! I have 180k on my2004 F350. Trucks a 5.4 and I dont plow or off road my truck, unless you count hunting season and dirtbike season as "off roading". Anyways my [originals went about 40k, replaced them with moogs...around 90k passenger side went again. Moog were replaced under warranty from the store, jump forward to around 130ishk and this time the drivers top was clunking away. AGAIN the store replaced all four under warranty BUT this time I changed grease to a basic dino grease made for ball joints/u joints etc...well at 170k the drivers bottom ball joint started slapping around...so again replaced under warranty took me another four hours to swap all four ball joints and now I'm using Lucas severe duty synthetic grease. If these crap moogs go bad again I'm just gonna spend the money and buy a different brand....what I have no idea
Also I'm only running 285/75r16 all terrain tires, and yes I drive like a drunk all day avoiding pot holes and all the other road obstacles
Keep in mind that the brands we grew up with, Spicer, Moog, Dana, Perfect Circle, etc., are now Made In China junk. I will only use Motorcraft on these trucks...

Yeah, that's why I asked the question in the first place. I don't mind spending the extra money for quality stuff. Never have. But it seems like all the brands you mentioned, ones that I know and grew up with myself, aren't worth the cardboard box they come in. I have read positive things on the Kryponite brand in other places and they carry some really good stuff for the Duramax crowd. I went ahead and bought the heavy duty NAPA Chassis brand based on a buddy's recomendation that does it for a living. With as little as I drive a year, they will probably last longer than me!
