Hey everyone, I'm new the site and am posting my first question. I have a 00' F150 w/two tone dark blue and silver trim. I caught my kids writing "Wash Me" on the hood. Anyhow, I got the hose out and washed off the writing and noticed after it dried, you could still see a very faint outline where they wrote it. I got out some turtle wax and quickly did the hood and for about a day you couldn't tell any damage had been done. But the following night I noticed as it was parked, a street light was putting some light on the hood and I could see very faintly again, the outline of "Wash me." Does anyone know of a good product and/or method to permanately remove this? I can live with faint swirl marks but this is killilng me!!!! Please help.....Thanks
Yes those darn kids don't realize that dirt is laike sandpaper when dragging it across paint.
Mequires makes a product called Body Scrub. It will lightly runb out the scratches. Then go over it with a good carnuba wax and it should be gone.

Also try using Meguair's Paint Cleaner. It will remove faint swirl-marks. It removed 75% of the swirl marks and small scratches on my black truck. It works really well.
