Hello!
I signed up for this forum over a month ago.
Just now getting 'round to saying hello. Sorry for the delay.
I'm in pretty bad health and have good days and bad days and sometimes the bad days turn into bad weeks... or longer.
It's a shame the good days don't do that.
But, I keep on keepin' on. Not much else to do about it.
But anyway... I bought this Ford F150, 2004 4WD, 4 door. 291k miles... yeah I know. But I paid $1,500.00 for it. (VIN 1FTPW14594KC06260)
And being poor at the moment and rebuilding my life (Again) and never considering owning anything other than a Ford F150, I snapped it up.
It's kinda like me. It has some troubles. I have a friend that I've paid a minimum amount to do what he can. And he's pretty good around a wrench.
And I think eventually if things work out, it'll be in good shape before long.
We just replaced the Flywheel and starter. And next is the timing chain, and all the gismo's that go along with it.
That's a decent looking truck. I'm sure it will serve you well.
At the top of your page, click on the FORUMS banner. Once inside, click on Newer Light Duty Trucks. You will then see a list of year groups. You will find the 2004 thru 2008 have their own group. If you have issues, or questions, post them in that section. The folks there know your truck inside and out.
Don't forget to checkout your state chapter too. The WV chapter has a good leader and a fine bunch of people.
Hello and welcome on board! Glad to have you here. You'll find some interesting info on this forum. If you haven't found what you're looking for, feel free to post a question. If you have knowledge that someone else is looking for, feel free to share! Hope you stick around and find it useful.
Thank ya TomFlyer!
I drove through Pennsylvania, once.
And on another occasion, I spent a few days in Altoona, and for the life of me, I can't remember why I was there.
Had to be works related, a telephone system at a hotel I'm sure.
Very nice place though, nice people. It was a good trip.
