Is there no rain-sensing wipers and heated steering wheel options anymore? I bought a lariat that has everything but a sunroof, and I did not see where you can have these two things as an option. I even built platinum on ford.com and did not see this available.
Never used the rain sensing feature on my truck....id rather control it myself. BUT if you want, you can add heated wheel if that's important to you. There are a couple of thread of owners who have done this.
On the option available, I feel the Ford website lacks in details for some options when building a truck. The dealer should have more info on what comes with what and could guided you on where these options are..
I just happen to order the windshield de-icer to later find out it included the heated wheel...didnt know until now it also included the rain sensor.. Live and learn
For 2020, the 60W option group has three items: windshield wiper de-icer, heated steering wheel, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
For 2021, the 60W option group is still available, but the windshield wiper de-icer has been removed from the 60W option group. Note that the windshield wiper de-icer is no longer available at all in 2021, for whatever reason Ford completely removed it.
Unless Ford has made some improvements to the rain-sensing wipers you're not missing anything there. I have them on my 17 Platinum and they're horrible. Only ran them for about the first month and if there was a light mist on the windshield or it was raining lightly at times they ran at almost full speed. Then if it was snowing I had the same issue. When I just ordered a 2021 Tremor I didn't even think about paying for that option this time around.
