Blown head gasket??

Was driving down the road got to where I was going turned the truck off heard a a sort of hissing or something like that sound, then turned it back on white steam or smoke came out of the muffler. Turned it back off then back on didnt seam to have a problem afterwards, but now everytime i turn on and drive huge amounts of white smoke the oil is milky and the radiator gets empty. What are your thoughts im not sure as my steps forward?

Welcome to FTE.

If there is water in the combustion chamber, as evidenced by the white "smoke", which should be steam, that points to a head gasket.

Milky oil could be a head gasket as water could be getting into the oil drainbacks, or into the valley under the intake.

Milky oil could also be a cracked block.

Pressure testing the cooling system with the engine cold and not running may show you where the leak is. I'm not sure this is of real value as the engine will have to come apart anyway.

How many miles on the engine? Are you able to pull the intake and heads off the engine? Are you able to pull the entire engine?

A good part of this will be to observe at each step of disassembly what the condition of gaskets is, and what evidence of leakage there is. Cracks in blocks are not always easy to see.

If it is obvious it's a head gasket or leak into the valley, you might get by with a gasket replacement. If you can't find the leak, you should probably pull the engine and have the block checked. This usually means a full rebuild at that point.

Its got just over 230 thousand km

ill be able to take it apart, just curious about how I would go about pressurizzing the coolant system, but from reading your comment my course of action is to take it apart and look for where the fluids are getting mixed and or burnt

In theory, it should go twice that distance. But it didn't. I would pull the engine out and tear it down. If the bores and pistons are in spec, good, you reuse them. (keep things in order) Put new bearings in if the crank and cam are good. But, with water in the oil you could have bearing, cam and crank issues.
