My 1960 shortbed fleetside(not a stepside)box has what appears to be a cut-out in the rear tire well for a spare tire. Is this where the spare originally went ?
Ford's & Merc. trucks were known as "Stylesides", Chevy's were know as "Fleetsides". At least that's what my Ford/Merc truck Brochers state any way.
