Got my truck back from the tire shop after they put new tires on it and did a front wheel alignment and I noticed that my airbag light is on. Also, all of my left steering wheel controls except for the cruise button don't work. My horn works though. Do you all think this is a clockspring issue and how in the hell does that happen? I have a 2015 F-250 2wd model and I know they centered up my steering wheel. Are the steering wheels on these splined to where you can pop the wheel off and back on to center it? I'm just trying to figure out how it broke and how to approach this. I will probably take it down to the dealer and have them check it out in order to build some documentation.
If the wheel was spun 'around and around' (for whatever reason) during the alignment process, that supposedly can cause this.
The wheel doesn't go around and around unless you unhook it from the steering gearbox. And I don't know about you, but I've never had any reason to unhook a steering box doing an alignment.
