I have not seen any short bed panels for sale (repops) in quite a while. Of course I have not dug deep looking for a set. I think cutting down long bed ones are your only option.
This place says they sell the shortbed panels as well as completely built out short boxes. I've never seen anyone that has tried them though, so if you talk to them or place an order I'd be interested to hear how it turns out.
Are you looking for full outer bed sides? If so, all of my research leads me to only long beds.
Our plan is to use these patch panels. The one for the front will need to be cut down. It came from LMC and is a Tabco (gray). The two for the rear will need some minor fitting as well. They came from rock auto. Lower Rear
Just my opinion, don't get your hopes up on short bedsides, the last ones I came across was from lmc truck about 11-12 years ago they sold what they had nos and that was the end of them. I have looked for years and haven't found any for my 76, so I got long sides to cut. The ford dealership near me could only get one back in 1999 so they have been basically forgotten about. Good luck thou, you may come across someone holding on to a set. But I would guess they would be like $1800 each.
considering nos longs are like 1200. Even getting those are not easy.
