The answer to that can be found in the part #, or the alphabetical suffix iirc, particularly whether a new part # (that supercedes an older part) is backwards compatible with another part #, as in service replacements. Have to ask @NumberDummy ; I just get a headache looking at that stuff, and have to go lay down.
