Over heating issue, please help!

Good evening everyone. I need some help here. Earlier this week, I bought a 32’ bumper pull. I have a 2003 6.0L, ARP head studs, sinister coolant filtration. My truck struggled with the pull up slight hills. After that it started leaking coolant, last night the temp gauge never got warm, and when I got home, the res tank had over flowed and was gurgling. It was not boiling? The coolant is leaking from the back of the engine somewhere? Before I drove home 30 minutes away, I checked the coolant level and it was good. I can’t find the leak and have no idea what this whole thing is doing? Any and all help is appreciated. One other thing, could the transmission be a problem? I didn’t realize my trailer brake module was not working, and was evidently dragging for a ways? The little plastic lugs nut covers were melted off.

UPDATE: I may have it figured out. I’m gonna replace the t-stat tomorrow and see if the clears up both issues.

When the engine is running and the coolant is bubbling up in the expansion tank (and the level rises on throttle snaps) that's typically the sign of a blown head gasket.
