Stuck 51 Cowl Vent
Does anybody have some good methods for lifting up a stuck down cowl vent in a 51 F1?

Give us a little more information, How long has it been stuck down ? Is it a truck that been sitting around in a barn or field for years ? Or something that's been repaired / painted at some time more recent ?

Looks nice.

Lube up the pivot points on the cowl vent arm and hinges.

I'd take the friction bolt out and spray penetrating oil on all the pivot points.

Well, Many Thanks, Gents.

A quick spray with some sheep wool wax (Lanolin) and it moved like a brand new one.

Here's what I saw once it opened....

Beautiful truck, It looks like to be in great shape. For some reason I seem to recall seeing that truck somewhere before, I remember the stair tire carrier mount. Ive never been to Arizona or Melbourne.
